Jane is a mother of three children and two grandchildren.Her son has various disabilities including epilepsy, autism, schizophrenia, and learning difficultiesdue to being born with brain damage. Due to his difficulties, Jane gained a deep understandingofhow to support and care for people who live with complex conditions and learnt how to supportthem to live a fulfilling life and to be as independent as possible.
Jane has worked in the care industry for 12 years. She started her career as a foster carer, which shereally enjoyed, she then went on to work in residential care settings for nine years working her wayup from a support worker to a registered manager gaining experience in all aspects of the role. Janehas worked with young people with complex needs, learning disabilities and emotional difficultiesand challenging behaviour.
