Primrose Hill Nursing Home

Primrose Hill Nursing Home

Primrose Hill Nursing Home comprises three units, each designed to provide specialist care and support for those people living with dementia, complex nursing needs and those people requiring end-of-life care and support.

To complement the name of the home, each unit has been named after a much loved and unique flower -‘Forget Me Not’ Lane, ‘Penny Lane’ and ‘Red Rose’ Lane- depicting the three colours of the Union Jack.

The home has been designed with careful thought and consideration given to Service Users’ specific needs, comfort and safety while retaining the features of an aesthetically pleasing, welcoming, homely and warm environment. They continue to embrace the cherished principles enshrined in the company’s philosophy, which has served them so well over the years and been the cornerstone of their success, so far: To provide a high standard of quality care in a homely environment, reflecting an ethos of respect for people by treating them with dignity and ensuring their right to privacy, safety and security are maintained. ‘Forget Me Not’ Lane (13 bedded Specialist Dementia Unit) ‘Penny Lane’ (22 bedded complex nursing needs unit) ‘Red Rose’ Lane (15 bedded unit)

Words From The Manager

I have been in the care sector for almost 22 (twenty-two) years. I began my journey as a domiciliary care assistant. I took a passion for the role and decided that I wanted to pursue a deeper career. I worked for various companies until I found a company that I settled with, I remained with them for 14 (fourteen) years where I gained my QCF level 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care, after gaining my qualifications I achieved my first promotion to that of a Care – Coordinator and completed my QCF level 5 in leadership and management, after achieving this I was promoted to a Deputy Manager, where I assisted in the management of a large business. In 2017 I was awarded the opportunity to move to another company where I had the chance to build a domiciliary care branch from scratch, meaning that the branch started with no clients and no carers. Over the 3 (three) years that I was with the company I achieved a “flagship” branch with outstanding compliance, awards in carer retention and biggest growth of hours. With this I also achieved my first CQC inspection and received GOOD in all (five) areas. I was then afforded the opportunity to work for Primrose Hill Nursing Home in 2021. I have immense pride in Primrose Hill, I believe that every member of staff and the individual residents make the home what it is today.

✨ Proud to Stand Together for Fair Funding ✨ On 25th February, we stood alongside over 3000 care providers at Providers Unite Day of Action, adding our voice to the urgent call for Fair Funding for Care and support for providers facing rising costs. It was an incredible day of action, capped off with a vital House of Lords Debate highlighting the need for exemptions to protect our sector. We are proud to have played our part and will continue to support the movement as we push for the funding and recognition our sector deserves. Together, we are stronger. 💙 #FairFundingForCare #ProvidersUnite #SocialCare #DayOfAction Click the link to watch the highlights:
