Lorac Lodge is a Children’s and young person’s Home that has been designed and decorated in a way as to be modern, yet homely – and encourages a feeling of nurturing, warmth, stability, and security. The home interior has been carefully planned so as to give privacy but also enable children and young people to experience a safe and homely environment. It also has a garden where young people can play safely without leaving the premises.
Lorac Lodge is a Children’s and young person’s home with its sights set high in providing the best environment and best possible care. We support children their personal development, and celebrate all their achivements. We strive to support them with feelings of security and belonging, and, above all, happiness. We cultivate an environment of high ambition for Lorac Lodge, our management, and staff team – creating a positive atmosphere of ambition that our children can aspire to and achieve their potential.
We have studied and learnt from other homes, and we have disseminated what sets those apart from others, and what makes them outstanding. Their combined successes form our minimum Requirements for Excellence, and, from this, we continue to build and create our own benchmarks
