Marlborough Lodge

Marlborough Lodge is situated in the quiet town of St Leonards. It is a residential home for people with a Learning Disability, and has 6 en-suite bedrooms. The bedrooms are situated on the 1st and 2nd floors so it is more suitable for those people who are fully ambulant. It is registered with the CQC.  All staff are fully inducted and attend ongoing training.

Marlborough LodgeMarlborough Lodge provides a service user led environment, encouraging, and teaching independence. All service users attend daily structured sessions at various facilities surrounding the area. Service users attend gardening projects, college and active arts, as well as more traditional day services.

Service users attend supported work, generally as volunteers at places such as museums. This provides a wide experience for people.

There are a wide variety of social activities that people attend, such as social clubs, even a nightclub which is run on a monthly basis. Swimming pools and a gym are close by. The area has many parks for gentle strolls in the summer.

Communications are excellent-although Trust Care supply a vehicle-to aid independence people are encouraged to use public transport. The local bus services run regularly, and the bus stop is 60 seconds walk away. There are direct rail lines to London from nearby rail services. The town centre is 2 miles away.

All service users are registered with the relevant health providers, GP, dentist etc.
Family involvement is encouraged, and welcomed. There is no restriction on visiting times.
